In the oil and gas refineries & laboratories, there is hazardous substances are present. A starting few seconds are critical after corrosive chemical exposure. And slight delaying in that can cause serious injuries. Emergency showers provide immediate relief to the damage and can save human lives. The location of these showers must be within 10 seconds of reach.
Mainly in the desert and arid regions where in peak summer temperatures reaches up to 55-60 °C. And as per the ANSI Z358.1 recommends a safe water temperature between 16-38°C.
Without any external cooling system difficult to maintain 16-38 °C in the peak summer time. Traditionally people use chillers that are working on the Vapour Compression Refrigeration System (VCR) cycle. From the chiller tank to the shower tank water is transported through the insulated tank. The initial, running, and maintenance cost is very much high.
